Mr. James Edward Turner
KINGSPORT - Mr. James Edward Turner, Sr., 74, of Kingsport, TN transitioned from earth to glory on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.
James was born December 5, 1941 in Hampton, Georgia to Pastor James C. and Pastor Emeritus Lillie R. Turner. He graduated from Park Central High School in Bluefield, WV. James was a former employee of Mason Dixon and AFG Glass Company. James was the owner and operator of Turner Paving and Sealing Inc. for over 40 years. In 2005, James was awarded the Tri-Cities Black Business Award by the New Vision for Youth Outreach. He also was a Minor League Baseball Player for the Bluefield Orioles.
James was a lifelong member of Mount Zion Tabernacle both in Chilhowie, VA and Kingsport, TN. He served as the President of the Men’s Ministry and a faithful singer of the Mount Zion Brotherhood.
He was preceded in death by his father: Pastor James c. Turner, his daughter: Nanette Carol Wilburn, his sister: Barbara Jo Turner, and his brother: Pastor Thomas R. Turner.
James is survived and celebrated by his lovely mother: Pastor Emeritus Lillie R Turner of Kingsport, TN. His wife of 46 years: Margaret Ann Goode-Turner; (2) sons: Elder James (NaRasha) Turner, Jr., Kingsport, TN; Thomas (Amy) Peguese of Murfreesboro, TN; (4) daughters: Sabrina Turner, Kingsport, TN; Regina Saunders, Riverdale, GA; Magdolyn (Dale) Hector, Northridge, CA; Kelly (Sulimon) Turner, Kingsport, TN; two brothers: Pastor Lester (Robyn) Turner, Marion, VA; Brady Turner, Columbus, OH; seven sisters: Mother Lelia (William) Latta, Columbus, OH; Ruby Gaylord, Morristown, NJ, Temple (Judge C. Al) McConnell of Toledo, OH; Dorothy Turner-Partridge, Columbus, OH; V. Susie Turner, Columbus, OH; Janet Parks, Kingsport, TN, and Lucy Turner, Martinsville, VA; five brother in laws: Clinton (Sylvia) Goode, Lizzel, GA; Bruce (Gladys) Goode, Clayton, NJ; Kenneth Goode, Charleston, SC; Howard (Cynthia) Goode, Jacksonville, FL; one sister in law: Shirley (George) Hawkins, Richmond, VA; (18) Grandchildren: Nikki, Joe, Michael, Marci, Shae, Derrick, Dale Jr., Justice, Ricky, Autumn, Imani, Lindsey, James III, Ayonna, Jaquan, Yahia, Michael, and Jamaal. (7) Great Grandchildren: My’yon, Jaya Amani, Ava, Amelia, Mateo, and Amariyah. A host of godchildren and dear friends: Terry and Jean Moore, Kingsport, TN; Nathan and Alma Blye, Kingsport, TN; and Orville & Beatrice Bond, Kingsport, TN; Special Friends: Lois Beatty, Kingsport, TN and Garfield Pierce, Kingsport, TN.
Brother James Turner often quoted, "Your arms are simply too short to box with God!"
The funeral service will be conducted from Central Baptist church, Monday June 27, 2016 at 1 pm. The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, Va.

Mr. Lasper Ealy
Mr. Lasper Ealy, 58, 841 Dale St., departed this life Saturday June 18, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
A quiet gentle kind man who was easy to love and befriend, he is missed already by those who knew him.
A memorial service for Mr. Lasper Ealy will be conducted Thursday, June 23rd at Clark Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, 802-806 E. Sevier Avenue Kingsport, TN. The family will receive loved one and friends from 6pm, until the hour of service, 7pm. The service will be officiated by Rev. James Whiteside.

Paul Brian Trammell, II
Paul Brian Trammell, II "PB", "Bubbie" , "Baby Boy", "Uncle Brian" was born on April 29, 1989 in Kingsport, TN and departed this earthly life on May 29, 2016, in Atlanta, GA.
He was employed by C.R. England Trucking Company, where he had been traveling all over the United States up until the time of his passing.
He moved to Spring Valley, California in 2013, and had recently relocated to Huntsville, Alabama where his mother and sisters reside.
He was full of laughter and had an infectious smile. He never met a stranger and was loved by many. He loved family and was a loyal friend. He had so affectionately been named by friends and family. He was "Baby Boy" to his mom, "Bubbie" to his sisters, "Uncle Brian" to his nieces and nephews, and most notably known to his friends as "PB."
He grew up in Kingsport playing in little league in football and basketball. He was the little kid that was fearless and all heart. He competed with his two best friends and "brothers" Coty Sensabaugh and Blake Leeper. They forged a lifelong friendship and brotherhood that has lasted more than 20 years.
He graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 2007 and went on to attend Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and received the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized during a youth revival at Higher Ground Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving parents: mother Renee and father Paul (Martha) Trammell, five loving sisters: Briana (Kenny) Harris, Angel (Chris) Taylor, Jessica Trammell, Alleah (Justin) Rice, and Alexis Harris. Stepsisters Leticia (Joel) Mendoza, Myra (Angel) Pulido, Paternal grandparents Phillip and Connie Trammell, maternal grandparents Jackie (Rollen) Ross, Three nieces: Amiyah, Jaiden, and Zakiah. Two nephews: Tyler Josiah "TJ" and Micah. His Maternal grandparents: Jackie Ross (Rollen), Anthony (the late Gloria "Hessie) Daniels), Joel (the late Amelia) Machen. Three nieces, four nephews, four aunts: Lynette (James) Reese, Christal (Marvin) Machen, Beth Daniels, and Lisa Trammell. Three uncles: Phillip "Tiger" Trammell, Sedrick Machen, and Eric Machen.
Special cousins: Dominique (Rachel) Coclough; Mercedes Trammell, Cheyenne (Spike) Guy, Tray Trammell, Nellie Briscoe, and a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 PM Saturday at the Central Baptist Church in Kingsport. The family will receive friends from 3 PM until the hour of service.
Family will receive visitors at the homes of his father, Paul Trammell and his grandmother, Jackie Ross.
