Herman Andrew Logan

Mr. Herman Andrew Logan, 93, passed away July 6, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was a decorated U.S. Army World War II veteran, which included extended service in a foreign combat zone. Friends and family will attest that discipline and patriotism garnered from his military service remained lifelong attributes.

He was a 17-year employee and retiree of Eastman Kodak Company. After the death of his first wife, Emma, he met and married Dorothy and together they shared a life envied and adored by those that knew them. A Dallas Cowboys fan, he was also a knowledgeable enthusiast of many different sports. He devoted as much time as possible to his love of fishing. He attended Mount Zion Tabernacle Holiness Church of Kingsport.

Herman Logan was a man true to his word, who would offer a stranger help, had a heart of gold and smile that lit up the room. He will truly be missed by many.
