Herman Andrew Logan
Mr. Herman Andrew Logan, 93, passed away July 6, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was a decorated U.S. Army World War II veteran, which included extended service in a foreign combat zone. Friends and family will attest that discipline and patriotism garnered from his military service remained lifelong attributes.

After the death of his first wife, Emma, he met and married Dorothy and together they shared a life envied and adored by those that knew them. A Dallas Cowboys fan, he was also a knowledgeable enthusiast of many different sports. He devoted as much time as possible to his love of fishing. He attended Mount Zion Tabernacle Holiness Church of Kingsport.
Herman Logan was a man true to his word, who would offer a stranger help, had a heart of gold and smile that lit up the room. He will truly be missed by many.
