KNOXVILLE — Rhonda Elaine “LuLu” Gray Nolly born to the late Isiah Gray Sr. and Pearlean Reynolds Gray-Ellis on Sept. 15, 1955, in Kingsport,, TN, departed her earthly home on Sept. 12, 2014, at Fort Sanders Hospital, Knoxville, Tenn.
LuLu as she was affectionately known by friends and family was preceded in death by her parents, Isiah Gray Sr. and Pearlean Reynolds Gray-Ellis; grandparents, Harrison and Rosa Lee Gray, Clem and Willie Lee Reynolds; brother, Mark Anthony Gray; beloved uncle, Johnny Gray; uncles, Duke Gray, Farrell Gray and Lee Rone Reynolds; aunt, Willie Ruth Boykins.
She is survived by two daughters, Shamiyeh (Shamon Munsey, Sr.) Nolly and Jade Garner; one son, Thomas Nolly, Jr.; one sister, Sherri Murphy; one brother, Isaih (Regina) Gray, Jr.; five aunts, Leola (Ben) Johnson, Monnie (Mike) Woodford, Izziebell Royster, Mattie (George) Cooper and Evelyn Walker; one uncle John D. Reynolds, Sr.; five grandchildren, DeMarrus, Jr., DeMias and DeMiyeh Munsey, Ramiyah and Aslynn Nolly; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from noon to 12:30 p.m. at True Vine Baptist Church, 2547 Washington Ave., Knoxville, Tenn. 37917.
Celebration of life will be held at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Cecil Clark, officiating.
