He was born in Bedford Heights, Ohio where he lived the majority of his life. Preston was a graduate of Maple Heights High School where many friendships were formed. He attended Kent State University pursuing a degree in computer technology. Preston was a true car enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond R. Peters; his grandparents, Howard & Mary Young, Robert & Georgia Peters; a special great uncle, Jimmy Anderson.
Preston Peters is survived by his wife, Esmeralda Peters & their son, Giancarlo Valentino Peters (of the home); his sons, Dominick Mateo Peters, Giovanni Howard Robert Peters & their mother, Christina Edwards (Barberton, Ohio); his mother, Charlotte Peters Maxwell & husband, Gary (Church Hill); a sister, Tanya Sirmons (Ft. Lauderdale, FL); a very special cousin, Robyn Young (Warrensville Heights, Ohio); aunts, Phyllis Nichols & husband, Jim, Lynda Y. Reid, & Karen Y. Gonzalez; uncles, Howard Young, Jr., Gregory Allen Young & wife, Kim; his great uncles, Raymond Anderson & Fred Anderson; several loving cousins, Bryan, Ashley, Brandon, Tiffany, Allison, Myles, Morgan, Ryan, Deidtra, Brittany, Charles, & Jason.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday (August 4, 2009) from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home of Church Hill or friends may also call anytime at the residence of the mother, Charlotte Peters Maxwell.
A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday (August 4, 2009) at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Rev. Anthony Daniels, Rev. Billy Pierson, & Rev. Ricardo Dorcean officiating.
A graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bryan Young, Robyn Young, Charles Young, Brandon Gonzalez, Jim Nichols, & Gregory Young serving as pallbearers.
