KINGSPORT — Xavier Timothy “Tim” Hall, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord at his residence on Monday (March 19, 2012).
Tim was born in Harriman, Tenn., on Jan. 20, 1973. He moved to Kingsport at an early age. He was raised by Nelly Swafford and the late James Swafford. He graduated from Dobyns-Bennett in 1992. He was an active member of then Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Tim was the founder of New Vision Youth. He was a strong pillar in the community. His accolades consist of: Xavier Entertainment, The Xavie Hall Show-Flavor of Xavier and an endless community activist.
He was employed at Verizon Wireless in Johnson City.
Tim will be remembered as a loving father, son and friend who loved his family and community.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Hall; his grandmothers, Cecil Hall and Sampson Hall.
Survivors include his fiancée, Jessica Wiggins; his children, Rylee Billings, Justice Hall, Briana Hall, Zoe Hall, Xavier “Lily” Hall and Bryson Hall; his mother, Shelia Hall; aunt, Nellie Swafford; his sisters, Janet Horton and Kathy Carpenter; brothers, Orlando Hall, Donavon Hall and Jeremy Reed; a special father figure, Henry Taylor; his best friend, Paul “Kinfolk” Hall; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 10 to 12 noon Saturday at Central Baptist Church. Services will follow.
Burial will be at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
