Alfreda I. Womack
KINGSPORT — Mrs. Alfreda I. Womack departed this life Saturday (Dec. 29, 2012), at Indian Path Hospital.
Mrs. Womack was born in Rogersville, residing in Kingsport for the past 11 years. She was a member of Powerful New Life C.O.G.I.C. where she served as the president of the Pastors Aid committee and was a member of the choir.
Mrs. Womack is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Womack; her father, Louis Rogers; her brother, Louis Rogers Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Nicholas and Cora McKinney; and her paternal grandparents, Charlie and Rachel Rogers.
Mrs. Womack is survived by two sons, Patrick Womack and Mitchell Womack of Kingsport; mother, Mrs. Carrie Mae McKinney Rogers; one brother, three sisters, William Rogers; Mrs. Carrie Lee Cash, Mrs. Kathy (Howard) Collins, and Ms. Doris Rogers, all of Kingsport.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at noon at Powerful New Life C.O.G.I.C with Pastor Hugh Hale officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
Burial will follow at Mitchell Crest Cemetery, Rogersville.
