Mr. Blackman is survived by his wife of 26 years, Ms. Annette Blackman, brothers, Mr. William (Laura Carey) Blackman, and Mr. Eugene (Evette) Blackman, sisters, Ms. Lillian Blackman, and Ms. Nellie Blackman, and 18 nieces and nephews,

Funeral services for Mr. Blackman will at 3 PM on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Kingsport, with Reverend Kenneth Calvert officiating. Family will receive friends from 2 PM until the hour of service.
