She attended Powerful New Life Church. She was a great giver to others and enjoyed sewing. Anna was born Sept. 2, 1948, in Huntington, W.Va.
She was the daughter of the late James William and Novella Elizabeth Hale. She was one of six children. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Edward Hale of Bristol and James William Hale Jr. of Rogersville. She leaves to mourn her death two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Fain of Kingsport and Barbara Jean Fugate of Rogersville; one brother, Pastor Hugh Allen Hale and wife, Lorie of Rogersville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends anytime at the residence of her sister, Barbara Jean Fugate, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Colboch-Price Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Hugh Allen Hale and the Rev. Neal Ewing officiating.
Interment will follow in Mitchell Crest Cemetery.
