Bobby “Tuggy” Smith

 KINGSPORT — Bobby Gene “Tuggy” Smith, 69, of Kingsport, went to be the Lord (Dec. 20, 2010), at Holston Valley Medical Center.

He was born May 23, 1941, in Greeneville. He was a member of Full Gospel Mission and enjoyed singing with his high tenor voice. Bobby was a excellent football player for Swift High School in Rogersville.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Cephas and Mrs. Angel (Crum) Smith; maternal grandparents, Mr. John and Mrs. Vannie Crum; paternal grandparents, Mr. Alfred and Mrs. Fannie Smith; and a brother-in-law, Mr. Johnny Swagerty. He leaves to mourn one son, Victor McMiller; grandchildren, Matthew Phillips of Kingsport and Victor McMiller Jr. of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, the Rev. Geraldine Swagerty and Carolyn (Larry) Maxwell of Kingsport; uncle, Luchion (Buddio) Crum, of Moshiem; nieces, Letitia (Edward) Hayes, Delisa Hale, Camellia (Lawrence) Myrick, Johnnie Mae Swagerty; devoted caregiver and niece, Angel Blye, Angie (James) Morris, Alabama, Crystal Lee of Kingsport; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and relatives.
